Morality; Life in Christ
Found to be in conformity with the Catechism of the
Catholic Church.
Morality: Life in Christ As persons created in God's image, we
are guided by the Commandments and Beatitudes to live a successful moral
life. The principles of Catholic morality, including social teaching,
help teens make important life choices in their daily lives.

Typically takes place
when students are in 9th grade

The first year of a
two-year confirmation process

A formation process
focused on experiential understanding of material

Classes will meet the
first and third Wednesday of each month from October to April

There will be periodic
service events scheduled by the catechist

Required large group
sessions will be scheduled to foster community

Special focus will be
given to all students preparing them to enter a concentrated program
focused on foundation for life after Confirmation
-
Additional emphasis will
be given to the need of regular Christian charity as well as the
avocation of social justice through Catholic Social Teaching
