• Typically takes place while student is in 10th Grade

• The second year of a two-year process

• Students will meet for 11 Sunday evening class periods between October and May as well as attend one overnight retreat during the program

• Sponsor will have regular contact with students during the entire process as well as attend some Sunday evening sessions

• A concentrated program will allow students to understand faith as their own, build upon an mature understanding of autonomous faith, and become an active member of the adult Catholic Church

• A formation process focused on experiential understanding of material

• Teaching is based on and rooted in the Catholic Catechism

• Based upon the RCIA model recommended by the General Directory for Catechesis
