Evangelization

Evangelization is an opportunity for people to renew their faith in small prayer groups. There are two sessions each year – one during Lent and one in the Fall. It is a chance to be bold, brave and beautiful in the Lord - for it is good for us to come together.

Prepare

This ministry helps couples become more aware of their relationship strengths and potential work areas. It is for couples who have experienced marriage helping other couples who are preparing for marriage. These couples are trained to help facilitate couples' growth in their understanding of each other. By working with the PREPARE process, couples are taking an important step in getting their marriage off to a good start.

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process by which people become members of the Roman Catholic Church. With an emphasis on how the local community forms men and women, sponsorship and team involvement are an important part of the process.

The Process is concerned with the total formation of the person into:

  • Believing with the Church community (doctrinal formation)

  • Living with the Church community (practical formation)

  • Praying with the Church community (liturgical formation)

  • Serving with the Church community (apostolic formation)

This gradual development culminates with candidates celebrating the initiation sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil.

If you are interested in becoming a Catholic, or learning more about the Catholic Faith, you can register for the RCIA by calling Pat Germann  at (651) 501-2202 or E-mail.

Catholics Coming Home

This group offers an opportunity for Catholics who no longer practice their faith for a variety of reasons (perhaps the church in some way has hurt them) to meet, discuss and explore their faith again. This group meets for 6 weeks in the Fall.
