Summer Schedule for Children's Liturgy of the Word
Early Childhood Faith Formation for age 4 through Grade 1
These children meet weekly during the 10:30 Sunday Mass. The Word of God is shared with the children simply and creatively. They participate in large group worship consisting of prayer, song and story based on each Sunday's Scripture readings followed by reinforcement activities in the class.
Registration is required.
Children's Liturgy of the Word for Children Age 5 and older
Children are invited to participate in CLW by the presider during the Liturgy of the Word at the 5:00pm Saturday and 10:30am Sunday Masses. The children hear the Word at an age-appropriate level through prayer, ritual and small group sharing of the Sunday readings.
No registration is required. Please note, this does not replace early childhood or elementary faith formation. CLW is meant to supplement these programs.
Elementary Faith Formation for Grades 1-6
These sessions contain formal material for each grade level. We use a basic catechetical text supplemented with appropriate videos, craft projects, prayer, service opportunities, seasonal celebrations, and lectionary based activities.
Sessions are held on Wednesdays at 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 - 8 p.m., October to May. Registration is required.

Vacation Bible School
Held each summer, typically the third full week in June from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Registration is required. Details are provided each spring.
ARK
Care is available to children during weekend masses (Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 a.m.) and select parish events during the week. Please contact Beth Erickson at 651-501-2207 or email with any questions or to volunteer.
Special Needs
If your child has special needs such as profound deafness, severe learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, is mentally or physically challenged, or has other challenges that make you question the appropriate place for him/her in Faith Formation, please contact Carole Zempel.
