Baptism
Registration in the parish and participation in the Baptism programs
are required. For newborns and children, the programs are held on
the first Tuesday of February, April, June, August, October and
December from 7 – 9 p.m. Contact the parish office to register

Baptism (age six and older) are asked to contact Carole Zempel at

First Reconciliation (Penance, Confession)
A
preparation program for First Reconciliation is offered to help
parents and children (usually second grade but may be older)
integrate their understanding of Reconciliation. Parents and
children come together several times for learning, prayer, and
celebration.

First Eucharist (Communion)
First Eucharist preparation is offered to those parents who feel
their child (usually second grade but may be older) is ready to
celebrate Eucharist. Preparation will begin in October. Materials
are provided to assist parents and children in preparing for
Eucharist. Parents and children have several opportunities to
gather for learning, prayer, and celebration in addition to the
regular Faith Formation process. (Preparation for reconciliation is
necessary before preparation for Eucharist). Transfiguration School
Children in Gr. 2 are automatically registered.

Confirmation
Started while students are in 9th grade, the programs seek to
develop student appreciation for parish life as well as a personal
relationship with God enhanced by their presence in a faithful
community.

Marriage
Registered members must contact the pastor at least six
months before the proposed wedding date.
Anointing of the Sick
The anointing of the sick is administered to
bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness,
especially near the time of death. Father Bob should be
contacted to administer this sacrament. He can be reached at
