Transfiguration Social Justice Ministry

Feed My Starving Children
– needs help to package meals for starving children through out the

Loaves and Fishes
– needs help to feed the hungry, both cooking and serving. Meals
served in St. Paul on the second Friday of every other month.

Global Climate Change (GCC)
– needs people to volunteer as part of action teams. Deacon Glenn

Community Caring for Life (ACCL)
– support the local life care centers and provide school and parish
education on the dignity of human life. Contact Elizabeth Domeier

Habitat for Humanity
– needs help each summer with light construction and serving food.

Paint-a-Thon
–
this once a year projects needs workers and coordinators. Dean

Charitable Outreach
–
Provide
help to people in the local community when they have a need, i.e.
food, furniture. Volunteer help is needed with the annual Giving
Tree project at Christmas and for several other drives throughout

Food
Collection –
Transfiguration’s food shelf serves members of our community on the
second and last Thursday of every month. In addition, food baskets
are available at Easter and Christmas.

Joseph’s
Coat
– Collect clothing and useful household items for needy in the
greater St. Paul area. A collection bin is located in the church
entrance. Volunteers needed weekly to transport collected items.
