Staff Management
Purpose – Work
with the current parish staff on opportunities to enhance
performance by establishing well defined job descriptions, setting
clear performance expectations with feedback mechanisms, and
aligning work objectives in support of parish goals. The committee
is also charged with recommending changes in the future to meet our
future staffing needs in support of our parish mission.
Work Underway

Conducted a survey of the staff to better understand current job
responsibilities and performance management.

Completed a formal organizational chart based upon existing
reporting relationships

Established preliminary parish goals around the four pillars of
our mission statement – Worship, Education, Stewardship and
Outreach

Facilitated a day-long team building and goal-setting session on
August 29th

Finalize the Performance Review tool and roll out to the staff
in September

Complete performance review and finalize job descriptions with
all parish staff

Create an on-going human resources team to help support the
parish staff

Assess future parish needs for staff and help in building a plan
to meet this future vision.
