Transfiguration parishioners are actively involved in the affairs of
the church. A number of committees serve in an advisory capacity to
Transfiguration staff members.

Adult Formation
Offer lifetime adult faith formation for members of the parish
community.
Childrens Ministry
Provide a comprehensive religious faith
formation process for parish children from pre-kindergarten through
sixth grade.
Faith Formation for Confirmation
Foster the spiritual growth of junior and
senior high students through both service and social events in a
Christian environment.
Finance
Oversee the financial affairs of the parish.
Liturgy
Help ensure that worship at Transfiguration is God-directed,
grounded in Catholic tradition and mindful of the needs of this
particular community.
Maintenance
Offer advice and support on issues of building
and mechanical maintenance for parish facilities.
Parish Pastoral Council
Provide a forum for parish members to express
their ideas, concerns and priorities.
Social Justice
Promote a greater awareness of Catholic Social Teachings within the
parish community as well as active participation in social justice
activities.
Stewardship
Encourage parishioners to be good stewards of
their God-given gifts by sharing their time, talent and treasure.
